Fashion Designers At Home The Private Spaces of 21 Makers of Style
Marie Bariller Photographs by Guillaume de Laubier Foreword by Dolce & Gabbana
| Is dressing a home the same as dressing a body?
Fashion Designers At Home attempts to answer that question, looking inside the homes of today’s hottest fashion designers and revealing them to be incredibly talented interior designers as well.
Author Marie Bariller precedes each interview with a brief biographical note summarizing the designer’s career and signature style on the runway. Through Guillaume de Laubier’s photographs and the designers’ own words, the tone and décor of each home is revealed, providing a unique look into its owner’s personality and aesthetic approach.
Perfect for both the fashion and interior design enthusiast, Fashion Designers At Home shows that the talents behind the world’s most fashion-forward clothing and accessories have also created some of the world’s most lavish and intriguing interiors.
Marie Bariller lived in New York for several years. Since her return to Paris, she has become artistic director for the clothing company Blanc Bleu. She is also the author of Houses of St. Tropez. Guillaume de Laubier is one of the leading French photographers of interior architecture and lifestyles, and his work has been featured in Marie-Claire, Madame Figaro and Vogue. His most recent publications include The Most Beautiful Libraries of the World, also published by Thames & Hudson.
